Monroe Evans Gardner papers, 1910-1975.

The Monroe Evans Gardner Papers contain correspondence with Gardner's former horticulture students who served in the armed forces during World War II. Some letters include a snapshot of the writer and Gardner's correspondence includes newsletters to former students with information about activities at North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering and fellow students. The correspondence includes holiday cards, V-Mail, and forms notifying Gardner of current addresses.
